The clock has two holes in the front, on either side, in which to insert the key.

One Response to “How do you set an antique clock that requires a key?”

With the old clocks I’ve had, the keys are for winding the clock mechanism, and the alarm.

Usually you gently push the minute hand around in a clockwise direction until the time is set. If you move the hour hand, you risk messing up the bell or chime system.
